How we began

 

In 2008, a group of Lycoming students paired with the National Best Buddies Association with the goal of bringing Lycoming students together with adults and children in the community with disabilities

Purpose

 

Lycoming Buddies is established for the expressed purpose of providing social opportunities for people with disabilities through friendship and care.

Our Work

 

Lycoming Buddies plans activites for members and their buddies to get to know one another.  Many events incorporate other campus clubs and organizations as well!

Current Events/Fundraisers:

-Hayride

 

We will be going to Green Barn Berry Farm with our buddies for a hayride and to pick pumkins from the field. It's $7 per person. You must turn in your release form to Cara by Oct. 8th to participate. 

 

-Lycoming Buddies 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Potluck

All buddies are invited to Lycoming College for our annual Thanksgiving Potluck!  The event will be held on Sunday, Novemeber 21st from 12:00 - 2:00pm.  Contact your Lyco Buddy if you are in need of directions!  We look forward to ringing in the holidays with Lycoming Buddies once again!
